Description
Ready for a summer of fun in the sun? Work at J Camp at the Stroum Jewish Community Center (SJCC)! Camp Counselors work with their peers to lead a group of campers through fun activities, field trips, and special events. Campers range in age from 4 to 15 and camp themes include technology, cooking, stem, camping, vet school, and more! Camp runs from June 24 through August 23, and staff can work anywhere from 3 to 9 weeks. Camp is a great way to have fun, make money, gain job experience, and build your resume. Counselors can make $6,500 in their first year!
A Counselor's primary role is to make sure camp is a fun and safe space, in addition to the following:
