Job Summary/Overview:

Seeking an Engineer that will play a pivotal role in supporting our projects in the planning, execution, and successful completion of various construction and maintenance projects. This position involves a significant amount of project management, requiring the candidate to oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources. Additionally, the role demands active involvement in site assessments, design considerations, and the implementation of project specifications and contracts. Extensive on the job training and development opportunities will be provided to enhance the candidate's project management skills and technical knowledge in civil and mechanical engineering principles.

Specific Job Duties:

• Assist in the planning and execution of civil site new construction projects and building maintenance projects.
• Participate in project meetings, contributing to the development of project plans, schedules, and workflows.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and consultants, to achieve project objectives.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to engineering principles, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, proposals, purchase orders, and presentations.
• Assist in finance requests for new projects and repair and maintenance budgeting and finance requests
• Provide technical support on mechanical systems as needed
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance project management skills and technical expertise.
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status. Provide weekly and quarterly progress reports to Senior management.
Skills and Qualifications:

Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction engineering, industrial engineering, or relevant major 
• Proven working experience or internship of 2-4 years (construction, engineering, project specs, structural manufacturing, oil & gas or related technical industries) 
Desired:
• Fundamentals of Engineering/Engineer-In-Training Certificate (FE) highly desired 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools

• Knowledge and some experience of Critical-Path-Method Scheduling using Microsoft Project or similar software
• Experience in creating, reviewing or following project specifications
• Experience in creating or reading engineered design drawings
• Construction experience or exposure
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations
• Desire to assist in building maintenance programs that may include assisting or managing building maintenance assests such as roofs, HVAC equipment, elevators, doors, parking lots, landscapes, etc
