It features faith-based games bringing the Bible to life for the whole family.TruPlay, join us today and play in the light.Responsibilities & Expectations:Server-Side Development:Develop and maintain server-side components using C# and the .NET framework.Implement scalable and high-performance backend services.API Design and Development:Design and implement RESTful APIs for communication between the frontend and backend systems.Ensure API endpoints are well-documented and adhere to best practices.Code Reviews and Collaboration:Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members.Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.Version Control:Use version control systems (e.g., Git) effectively.Collaborate with a team using branching strategies and pull requests.Testing:Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability of backend services.Implement and advocate for test-driven development (TDD) practices.Scalability and Architecture:Contribute to the architectural decisions for scalable and maintainable backend systems.Implement and maintain microservices architecture.Extra Credit (Preferred)Database Management:Design and optimize database schemas using technologies like SQL Server, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.Write efficient and optimized database queries.Integration of External Services:Integrate third-party services, APIs, and libraries into the backend system.Handle authentication, authorization, and data synchronization with external systems.Security Implementation:Implement security best practices to protect against common web vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, cross-site scripting).Ensure data privacy and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.Performance Optimization:Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in backend systems.Conduct load testing and performance tuning.Skills/CompetenciesC# and .NET: Proficient in C# programming language and the .NET framework.Web Frameworks: Experience with web frameworks like ASP.NET Core for building web applications.API Development: Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.Testing Tools: Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit) for backend testing.Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control.Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and ability to analyze complex problems and provide effective solutions.Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in backend development.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Travel Requirements:Ability to travel to Austin (or any location that may be requested) as required by LeadershipAbout Us:We're growing a faith-based multimedia company to bring hope and positivity in a dark world for the next generation of children.
