Roles and Responsibilities:

Job Summary/Overview:

This position is one of two compliance assurance roles responsible for providing oversight and management of EHS compliance-related activities including inspections, audits and management systems. This position will support both Austin and Taylor semiconductor sites. This forward-facing role interacts with all levels of the organization including internal and external stakeholders, has responsibility for day-to-day execution and strategic improvement of EHS compliance programs. The ideal candidate is a mid to senior career level professional with significant relevant experience.

Specific Job Duties:

• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the tiered auditing program.
• Lead implementation of ISO 14001 and 45001 Management Systems.
• Owner of DOT program, including collaboration with unit parts in administration of special permits and approvals.
• Organize and execute compliance-related activities in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor changes to applicable regulations and consensus standards; support integration of changes to EHS processes.
• Evaluate compliance related programs for improvements; develop and implement improvement plans.
• Owner of compliance-related software modules; collaborate with users and IT resources to make improvements.
• Develop, monitor and report on metrics associated with compliance assurance programs.
• Analyze and interpret data and information and develop presentation material appropriate for the intended audience, including executive level personnel.
• Design programs and procedures that control, eliminate, and prevent compliance-related incidents.
• Ensure records are maintained in compliance with internal, local, state, provincial, and federal EHS laws, regulations, and permits.
Skills and Qualifications:

Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, occupational safety & health, environmental, quality or risk management or related field, equivalent experience will be considered with GED/HS degree.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in environment, health and safety compliance, management systems and auditing required.

Preferred:
• 10-15 years of experience in EHS auditing, risk management and management system implementation.
• EHS, Quality or Risk Management certifications including but not limited to CIH, CSP, CHMM, ARM, CMQ/OE.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools

• Experience with ISO 14001, 45001 and 50001 management systems.
• Knowledge and application of root cause analysis methodologies.
• Extensive working knowledge of state and federal laws/regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT).
• Certifying facilities to OSHA VPP Star status.
• Experience managing regulatory agency inspections and audits.
