In this role, you will: 

• Drive projects impacting our ERP, Salesforce, and travel & expense systems, working closely with external and internal teams to meet deadlines
• Employ standard project management practices and tools to independently drive projects toward execution, coordinate stakeholders, and manage accountability
• Spearhead the implementation of new software tools, including requirements gathering, testing, reporting, and hypercare
• Partner with the business technology team to reflect business needs in system design
• Support emerging markets, directing and/or supporting any projects required to get them up and running
• Closely collaborate with our Accounting, Business Operations, Customer Success and US Finance functions to ensure we are always putting the customer first
• Establish close working relationships with the larger Finance and Accounting teams, developing a deep understanding of all job functions to ensure items are routed to the correct team at the get-go
• Create reports in ERP and Salesforce to assist with reporting and meet requests of the team
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

• 4 years experience in a project management or operations role, with a history of leading initiative
• Demonstrated understanding of established project management practices and tools
• A detail-oriented, high-energy, positive disposition and excellent communication skills
• Proven track record of sound judgment calls, taking ownership, and delivering results
• A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects

An ideal candidate also has:

• PMP or Agile certification, or similar formal project management training
• Focus on teamwork and collaboration
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Experience with Netsuite and Salesforce
