About the role:

Are you an aspiring Knowledge Management (KM) professional? In this role, you will:

• Craft clear and concise KB articles to support the refinement and expansion of the KM library
• Collaborate closely with team members to enhance knowledge-sharing processes
• Assist in the development and implementation of knowledge management strategies
• Contribute to the design and execution of surveys and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Play a key role in the continuous improvement of our knowledge management framework
• Actively participate in technology-driven initiatives, incorporating AI and other innovative solutions
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical or Professional Writing, Information Management, Communication Studies, or Business Administration
• 1-2 years of professional experience in the field of knowledge management, technical documentation, or similar fields
• Proficiency in crafting clear and concise KB articles and documentation, demonstrating the ability to convey complex information in an easily understandable manner, while maintaining accuracy and relevance
• Ability to manage and coordinate tasks effectively, collaborating with one or more SMEs.
• Familiarity with one or more CMS or KMS systems

An ideal candidate also is:

• Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Zendesk, Tableau, or similar tools
• Proficient in support-focused or knowledge-focused AI tech
