POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator will support the project management team on complex projects for the organization’s research, development, and product implementation activities. 
The Project Coordinator acts as a liaison between external site staff and internal Project Managers by acting as the initial point of contact for sites on projects involving site management activities, according to SOPs and GCP. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide quality customer service and assures that site project management activities are performed and delivered on time and according to expectations
• Interact regularly with project team representatives and client stakeholders.
• Coordinate regular meetings of the senior staff to review project support requests and other issues relevant to key deliverables.
• Assist with monitoring project schedules and scope to ensure both remain on track.
• Support all aspects of meetings including circulating meeting agenda, collating meeting materials in advance, acting as meeting timekeeper, taking minutes, and circulating meeting minutes and action items.
• Assist in developing study plan outlining planning, execution, and closeout milestones.
• Serves as a contact, along with the Project Manager, in communication and interactions with other departments and clients, with assistance as applicable.
• Produce reports or data analysis review. Compiles and prepares information for presentations using MS Office software, including but not limited to, correspondence, reports, tables & analyses, presentations.
• Review and edit communication plans and statement of work for accuracy.
• Prepare work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures based on interpretation of the client requirements. Ensure all deviations are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely fashion.
• Ensure all client comments on protocols and amendments are addressed in a timely manner.

• Learn to review data and identify deficiencies.
• Learn to use project tracking systems, as appropriate.
• Undertake other administrative duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• At least 1 year of experience coordinating Projects/Programs
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field would be advantageous. Relevant disciplines include Life Sciences, Genetics, Molecular Biology.
• Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as World, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook.
• Effective verbal and written communication, and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability and confidence to interface effectively with all levels of management and to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
• Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.
• Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to multitask while paying attention to details.
• Strong organization skills, with attention to priorities, effectively meeting deadlines and responding in a timely manner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
