About the Role: 

Bross Street Assisted Living is looking for an engaging, detail-oriented Assisted Living Facility Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our small assisted living home. 

Bross Street Assisted Living is located in the heart of downtown Longmont and serves up to 11 older adults in receiving the care and support they need as members of our community. Our mission is to support our residents in feeling included, respected, and dignified in their care services and to maintain a high quality of life for each of them based on their individual needs. 

Our Assisted Living Administrator position coordinates and supports the operations of the home including managing our caregiving team and ensuring all of the resident's needs and goals are met during their time with us. This position does have overseeing support and supervision from our Residential Program Management team and will receive ongoing professional development, training, and education in both assisted living care and general leadership skills.

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Overseeing and coordinating the operations of Bross Street Assisted Living including supervising our caregiving team and the needs of the residents 
  • Daily tasks will include both administrative tasks and direct support services based on the needs of the home 
  • Administrative and compliance tasks include, but are not limited to:
    • Completing and monitoring daily documentation
    • General facility oversight
    • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory expectations as required to recur
  • Providing direct care services as needed to residents including, but not limited to:
    • Support with activities of daily living
    • Medication administration
    • Meal preparation and facilitation 
  • Coordinate community activities, therapeutic services, meals, etc. 
  • Schedule and supervise caregiving team and give technical direction
  • Monitor budget and utilize operational resources
  • Conduct and document assessments to help identify needs and changes in condition
  • Communicate with residents and/or their representatives on a frequent basis, and address and manage any concerns
  • Provide tours, negotiate/sign leases, and make sales calls to fill any home openings

Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Experience/current certification in medical administration and CPR a plus (paid training available for those not currently certified)
  • Must have training and/or experience commensurate with the service or support being provided
  • Must be willing to complete Assisted Living Administrator Certification (paid by Bross Street Assisted Living)
  • Works in full compliance with all of Bross Street Assisted Living's policies, procedures and protocols
  • Able to perform the physical demands of the position
  • On-site support at assisted living residence in Longmont, CO
