Sam's Grill & Bar is Hiring a Bartender Near Fort Worth, TX
We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender who handles both mixing drinks as well as server responsibilities. Customer service & promoting a positive experience in a local environment with regular guests and new neighbors, should be at the highest priority. Great bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly wage and tips. At Sam's, we believe in the growth of our employees and will do our best to provide professional development as well.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present restaurant and bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Requirements
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- POS Awareness and Training availability
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate - TABC, Food Handlers
