Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Sr. Marketing Manager – Sam’s Club Hub & Brand Marketing will be an imperative role for the continued growth of Sam’s Club and the Sam’s Club Hub Branded Merch store. You will be a primary business owner for the Club Hub and brand campaigns, developing business strategy, delivering, and reporting against campaign goals and objectives and developing communications and content strategies. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director for Sam’s Club Brand Marketing/Sam’s Club Creative Studio, you will have experience working across multi-channel campaigns and be accustomed to working with complex cross-functional teams. No day is the same, so flexibility and the ability to think on your feet, find solutions and break down barriers is paramount.

What you’ll do

  • You will oversee the operations of associate merchandise.
  • Drive alignment and lead activation to advance the Sam’s Club brand across merchandising, pop culture and seasonal campaigns.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with category marketing team, channel owners and creative teams to bring brand merch and programs to life, including overseeing product development, execution, measurement, and reporting.
  • Manage the planning & execution of brand events, working with key agencies.
  • Bring the brand to life for the broader organization, developing materials and exerting influence cross-functionally to ensure brand consistency and governance.
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for Sam’s Club Hub and ensure product, creative and messaging are consistent and “on brand” for all brand campaigns.
  • Support in creating a high-performing team, by serving as financial steward and ensuring budget and legal requirements are met.

  • Customer Service and Managing Vendor Relationships
  • Sales Report Review & Analytics
  • Good design eye and knowledge is a plus (on-trend apparel and associate merch)
  • HQ Showroom Merchandising & Stocking
  • Item Number/UPC Management
  • Pricing Negotiation
  • Operations background a plus
  • Procurement

You’ll sweep us off our feet if…

  • You have event marketing/management and merchandising experience.
  • You have a strong background developing brand merchandise and campaigns with the ability to lead omni-channel programming and a social-first mentality.
  • You understand procurement, custom order management and product development.
  • You have a track record for rallying cross-functional partners to meet a common goal. 
  • 3 years experience in direct or indirect retail marketing, including brand management.
  • 2 years experience in online/offline marketing.
  • 2 years experience managing vendor contracts and relationships.
  • 1 year experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with following tools/systems: Workfront and ProcureIT
  • Existing experience with media integrations

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
