Sam's Car Wash is Hiring a Site Manager Near Frederick, MD

Sam's Car Wash is seeking to hire a Site Manager at our brand new, state of the art Car Wash In Frederick. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow within one of the best car washes in the area. Sam's is the oldest family owned and operated Carwash in the DMV.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is willing and able to excel in a fast paced environment, learn and maintain exceptional customer service, be accountable, reliable and hard working.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that daily operations of the car wash are running successfully and provide support throughout the entire wash process
  • Ability to learn and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system with training.
  • Open and Close site and facilitate daily operations
  • Engage customers and sell products and services
  • Presents a warm, friendly, knowledgeable and professional image to customers
  • The Site Manager should be able to deal with conflict resolution calmly and demonstrate effective leadership and communication skills
  • Enrollment and Support of Wash Club Members
  • Hiring, Training and development of team members
  • Handling customer complaints & confrontation with positive resolutions
  • Basic maintenance and upkeep of equipment
  • Can't be afraid to get your hands dirty, we are looking for someone willing jump in and help with any job at the carwash.
  • Ensure compliance to policies and procedures
  • Maintain all aspects of the property are in clean and working order
  • This is not a desk job you will spend the majority of your time around the site and outside

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership or management role. Prior Car Wash experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays (Managers will not be working New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).
  • Ability to work outdoors in ALL weather conditions (both hot and cold)
  • Regular physical mobility including standing for long periods of time, reaching, grabbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds in weight
