Shipping and Receiving Associates

Sam Ash Music is looking for candidates who want to work in a challenging and fun environment. Limited experience in warehousing/packaging/picking/receiving is ok. We offer training on everything that we do. There are advancement opportunities available to those who excel in the position. The job is fast-paced and you will be moving the entire time. • Loading and unloading a truck
• Pallet jack/hand truck/shrink wrap skill required
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Routes items to departments.
• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
• A knowledge of musical instruments and gear would be helpful
• General knowledge of tools
• Following instructions, organization, and heavy lifting 50 lbs. and over
