Position Responsibilities

• Proper packing, labeling and tagging of the inventory in the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading of goods and supplies and ensuring proper handling of the same.
• Maintaining quality in the warehouse and keeping track of all damaged inventory and reporting the same to the supervising authorities.
• Carry out the policies and procedures of Sun Delivery LLC while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism and teamwork atmosphere as per standards of service.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule due to business levels and industry demand.
• Maintain uniform and grooming standards as outlined in employee handbook and departmental training.
• Care of equipment and cleanliness of work area.
• Recommend process improvements to manager
• Practice safety standards and report all unsafe conditions to the manager.
• Complete all duties as assigned by manager.

Job Requirements

• Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
• Must be able and willing to work weekends
• Communicate, read, understand, and write as required to perform essential functions.
• Pass company drug and alcohol screening.
• Present neat, clean appearance of self and equipment and proper business etiquette.
• Familiar with inspection procedures for product received.
• Must be able to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Must be physically able to slide, push, pull, or relocate a piece using a hand truck or have assistance as part of the loading and unloading process.
• Sit up to ten hours per day.
• Must be in reasonable health and able to stand, squat, turn, bend and twist in the freight and unloading process.
• Must have adequate eyesight to be able to detect hairline cracks, splits, checks, warp, surface scratches, stain mismatch and other routine defects customarily found in furniture.
