Salveo Integrative Health is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team in Athens, GA!

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our healthcare team. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Nurse Manager with overseeing the nursing and tech staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong managerial and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Help manage and supervise a team of nurses, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Assist the NM with implementing nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Collect availabilities from staff to create staff schedule for corresponding unit

-Will fill in as a nurse on the unit when needed

-Responsible for engaging with staff and being a resource for staff needs

- Alternate on-call duties with the Nurse Manager
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Administer medications, including injections, as required
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Oversee the management of medical records using Avatar electronic health record systems

Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Experience in discharge planning and coordination of patient care
- Proficiency in administering injections and other medical procedures
- Knowledge of sonography techniques for diagnostic purposes
- Familiarity with nursing home operations and regulations
- Understanding of infection control protocols in a hospital setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the state of Georgia
