Salvatori's General Manager Job Description

As a general manager at Salvatori’s you will have ultimate responsibility for developing our people, delivering extraordinary hospitality, safeguarding our financial success, and maintaining our brand reputation at your store. This role has a strong hospitality element, ensuring that the restaurant always delivers high quality food and service. You will also undertake activities common to business managers including overseeing:

• Human resources
• Operations
• Sales and profit targets
• Delivering on our brand promise

Responsibilities

As general manager for Salvatori’s you will be responsible for:

• Operational excellence and people management.
• Organize stock and equipment.
• Order food and supplies.
• Oversee building maintenance, cleanliness, and security.
• Plan and direct all working budgets to maximize profits and achieve sales targets.
• Deposit daily revenue and receipts and maintain proper cash control standards.
• Coordinate staff scheduling.
• Motivate and encourage staff to achieve targets.
• Train and develop existing team and recruit new team members.
• Ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and restaurant complies with all health and safety regulations.
• Ensure all food safety standards are followed.
• Implement and instill company policies, procedures, and ethics.
• Handle customer complaints and queries
• Prepare reports and other analysis documentation.
• Establish relationships with local communities and undertake activities that promote our company’s brand.
• Report to and attend regular manager meetings.

Work Experience

Minimum two years in full-service restaurant management experience.

Preferably two or more years in general management experience.
