Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Salvatore Albanese & Company, Certified Public Accountants. The Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, processing payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting reconciliations, and assisting with tax preparation. The Accountant will also provide financial analysis and support to clients, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis
  • Ability to perform reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and tax laws
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Certification (CPA or equivalent) is a strong plus
