**Position Overview:**

The Food Warehourse Administrative Assistant will provide administrative assistance to food warehouse clients and agencies.

**Duties & Responsibilities:**

* Compose and type routine letters to staff and other city agencies as needed.

* Open mail, sort and answer routine correspondence.

* Assist in preparation of letters, emails and other forms of correspondence with donors, community members, employees and other individuals.

* Work closely with the Social Services Director and Corps Officers to maintain and update a calendar of all scheduled appointments.

* Work with and assist in ordering TEFAP and other government commodity foods.

* Prepare requisitions and make appointments for supplies, food pick up, building and vehicle repairs as needed.

* Prepare and compose statistic reports, Gift n Kind reports and financial reports

* Perform other administrative assignments/duties as directed.
