Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of our buildings and equipment. This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Duties:
- Develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules to ensure optimal functioning of all facilities
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
- Supervise a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and warranties
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs as needed
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facility management
Requirements:
- Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to supervise a team effectively and foster a positive work environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
