As a Convenience Plus - Cashier, you are responsible for assisting your team with the day to day running of the store operation.
In your role, you have the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to excellent customer service while handling tasks such as cashiering, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking and facing products, assisting with light food preparation and engaging with our customers throughout the day.
Suitability for Position
To be successful in this job, you should be able to perform each essential duty outlined below to a satisfactory standard as outlined by Minit Stop store leadership.

General Requirements
- You must be 18 years of age or older
- A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is preferred.
- You must possess the ability to understand the basic functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division as well as the ability to read and understand basic instructions and company policies and procedures.
- You must have the ability to communicate with customers and coworkers in a clear, professional and courteous manner at all times both orally in person and over the phone, and in writing.
- A basic understanding and knowledge of computers is required in order to carry out required day to day aspects of the job.
- You should be able to lift up to 25 pounds to a height of at least 4 feet with or without reasonable accommodation.
- You must possess the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time throughout the day.
- You are also required to obtain a County Liquor Card and Safe Food Handlers Certificate within 60 days of hire
