SALT Dental Partners is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Billings, MT

SALT Dental Partners is seeking a motivated and friendly Dental Assistant to join our team at Brewer Dental Centers. As a Dental Assistant, you will work alongside our dentists and hygienists to provide exceptional dental care to our patients. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and genuinely cares about the well-being of our patients.

In this role, you will assist with various dental procedures, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, take X-rays, and provide chairside support to the dentists. You will also educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and trimming impressions
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations

Requirements

- At least 6 months of dental experience, hygiene-focused preferred
- X-ray certification
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
