Salt Dental Collective is Hiring a Payroll Specialist Near Phoenix, AZ

SALT Dental Collective, a growth service organization, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of the company's payroll. You will also be responsible for maintaining employee records and complying with state and federal payroll regulations. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Responsible for processing and managing bi-weekly payroll for all employees in multiple locations.
Ensure all employee payroll information is accurate and up-to-date, including new hire paperwork, pay rate changes, and tax withholding information.
Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for management review.
Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and issues.
Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws
Continuously improve payroll processes and controls to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
At least 2-3 years of experience in multistate payroll processing, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and compliance.
Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs.
Ability to be self-sufficient in a high paced environment.
Think critically, emphasis on attention to detail, and extremely organized.
