Job SummaryThe Project Manager will be visiting our project site location at The Retreat at San Marcos, an off-campus private student housing development for Texas State University. This opportunity will include project management for the oversight of renovations to a student housing facility.
In This Role, You Will
- Be onsite each day monitoring the construction progress and conducting daily walk throughs of the construction areas
- Write daily reports on the project progress and provide weekly status reports
- Problem solve and provide resolutions to maintain schedule, cost, and quality
- Flag any issues that may cause delays to the project
- Coordinate with the onsite property management staff, contractor, and campus personnel as needed
- Serve as the primary contact with clients
- You have a minimum of 4 years in Design, Project Management and/or Construction
- You have experience managing projects for higher education facilities, student housing and/or multi-family housing is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proactive and effective communication
- Strong writing and time management skills
- Excellent work ethic and attitude
- Organizational skills with the ability to plan, balance, and prioritize work
