Saint Mary Magdalene School is a Catholic elementary school (pk-8) located in the Westgate neighborhood of Columbus. We are seeking a preschool lead teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Our school's root beliefs that we are always learning and that we are always striving for excellence lay the foundation for our work to help all students excel in wisdom and faith. We believe we are family and we seek to be a community where students, staff, and families are constantly reflecting, seeking feedback, and finding ways to improve and grow to develop their fullest God-given gifts and talents.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Certification in first aid, CPR, communicable diseases, and recognition of child abuse, or willingness to obtain them
- Ability and desire to work as a team with other preschool personal
- Knowledge and understand Ohio’s early childhood education programing laws and requirements
- Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
- Have attended or be willing to attend a VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children training
- Candidate must complete an online teaching application with the Diocese of Columbus
