The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s Health system is hiring for an experienced Registered Nurse to join their Progressive Care Unit. This nursing team provides care to post-surgical and medical short stay patients in a fast-paced environment with various acuity levels.
This Registered Nurse position on this PCU Unit will allow you to build relationships with your patients in a positive environment led by supportive and engaging leadership that believes in developing a strength driven career path. This is a great opportunity to master your nursing skills while learning new skills and growing your career.
This Intermediate Unit will allow you to gain RN experience with:
• Fast Paced Environment
• Variety in acuity levels, conditions and treatments
• ICU Stabilization
• Work with patients across all specialties
• High Patient Turn Over
• Post-Surgical and Medical Patients
Various Shifts Available
Responsibilties:
• Utilizes the nursing process
• Performs patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff
• Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures
