SIGN-ON BONUS $4,500 FOR FULL TIME HIRES

The Direct Care Worker works in a residential group home providing counseling, guidance, and daily living assistance to mental health recipients.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Direct Care Worker is responsible for the supervision of individuals in a community residence program serving Mentally Ill and/or Mentally Ill and Mentally Challenged individuals. They will also be responsible for the safety of the individuals, cleanliness of the residence, as well as providing and documenting restorative services based on accurate and consistent treatment plans which are reviewed quarterly, as well as attend all staff development training and conduct required bed checks based on residence needs or as needed. Sleeping on the job is prohibited.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate. Experience in a residence dealing with Mentally Ill and/or Mentally Ill and Mentally Challenged individuals preferred, not required. Valid New York State driver’s license required.
