Description

The SAIC Innovation factory is looking for someone who can be a crucial part of our Architecture & Governance team as a Release Manager. This role has two primary responsibilities. Initially, you'll be asked to lead the development of an agile release management process and then educate product development teams for adoption. Once established, the primary responsibility will be to manage the process to plan, manage, oversee, and organize all release activities for our products and services. To be successful in this role, you will need to be an energetic and proactive leader with strong organizational and communication skills.

This is a full-time remote job that can be worked anywhere within the U.S.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain release management processes, procedures, and standards.
• Monitor and track progress of releases to ensure timely, accurate, and quality deliverables.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including developers, project managers, QA teams, and end-users, to ensure successful release management.
• Develop and maintain release calendars and timelines.
• Analyze and report on software and system performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot potential release issues and provide resolutions.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure a smooth and successful release.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to stakeholders.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Monitor industry trends and advancements to ensure that release processes are up to date.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least nine years of experience in software engineering and/or Release Management. Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least seven years of experience in software engineering and/or Release Management.
• Strong technical understanding of software development processes and subsequent deployment processes to include infrastructure.
Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously while being an effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
