Description

SAIC is seeking an Operations Resource Analyst Senior Principal to support our ISR Engineering and Technical Services Program.

Note: This position is remote in CA with requirements with up to 25% travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Operations Research Analyst supports all Marine Corps related liaison as an Air Defense and Marine Corps SME, reviews and evaluates program management data, supports Program Management Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM), and other program support requirements. Participates in government IPTs and applicable working groups. Assists with qualitative datasets in support of weapons integration with respect to USMC S&T, acquisition, and future capabilities planning and needs.

Provides analytical research reports and data on current Marine Corps systems technology, weapons, and tactics with current and emerging technologies. Supports planning for training and manpower support requirements, development of draft operational Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs). Reviews, evaluates, and provides technical and administrative support in preparing program documentation for all sponsor work processes and procedures, and test and evaluation plans.
The Operations Research Analyst shall provide functional and direct programmatic support. Candidate shall review, evaluate and assist with the development of operational and technical requirements as part of Science and Technology (S&T) initiatives review and provide applicable technical and operational S&T proposal data, and support research, analysis, interpretation of applicable S&T technologies. Candidate will assist with qualitative datasets in support of weapons integration with respect to USMC S&T, acquisition, and future capabilities planning and needs.
JOB DUTIES:

  • Collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government.
  • Define the nature and extent of problems.
  • Analyze relevant data, which may include annual revenues, employment, or expenditures.
  • Interview employees while observing their operations.
  • Develop solutions to problems.
  • In the course of preparing recommendations, understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture.
  • Report findings and recommendations to the Government.
  • Reports are usually submitted in writing, but oral presentations regarding findings also are common.
  • For some projects, management analysts are retained to help implement the suggestions they have made.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience.

  • Significant experience in DOD programs or operations.
  • Proven track record of exceeding objectives, finding efficiencies and delivering results; mission-oriented leader that establishes clear, executable tasks and a vision for success.
  • Strong working experience in implementing/coordinating Earned Value Management, coordinating project schedule and a strong background in the area of financial control.
  • Must be an organized, technically oriented, and highly motivated individual.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in a PC-based Windows environment with Microsoft Office products including specific experience/ knowledge of Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Active Full DoD Secret Clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
