SAIC Career Site is Hiring a Program Support Specialist, Group Coordinator Near BETHESDA, MD

Description

SAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking creative and dedicated professionals to fulfill their career goals and objectives while delivering mission excellence on programs of national importance.

SAIC is seeking a highly motivated and tactical Project Coordinator to coordinate IT projects for the National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC). This position serves as the lead for the assigned project responsible for the development and maintenance of programmatic data ranging from project plans, artifacts, waypoints, timelines, implementation planning, etc. The ideal candidate possesses superior analytical and problem-solving skills, operates independently with limited supervision and feedback, and can establish solid working relationships with technical staff and peers within the client’s organization, as well as other external client customers.

This position is in Bethesda, Maryland.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and coordinate program management process activities such as Program Reviews and Control Gate Reviews including scheduling of meetings and preparation of briefings/presentations.
  • Compose technical documents including user’s manuals, and weekly activity reports. 
  • Ensure tasks are completed within the deadlines and tasking guidance from the Sponsor is clear and unambiguous.
  • Ensure all necessary programmatic and technical artifacts required to deliver the project effectively and successfully are created, maintained and are accurate.
  • Ensure project reporting on performance and status is complete and delivered per requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate across the client’s organization to ensure problem resolution, task scheduling, new resource requirements, training needs, and task clarification.
  • Assist in assessing, documenting, and tracking new program requirements and follow-on technical exchange meetings (TEMs).
  • Facilitate and participate in meetings and information sessions; coordinate project schedules; create/distribute minutes and action items; trace action items for successful completion.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required
  • Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD and two (2) years or more experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience within an IC Agency
  • Demonstrated ability to compose and edit written materials independently
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships and effective communications using tact, patience, and courtesy
  • Proficiency in standard office software 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree in information technology, business administration, journalism, communications, or English
  • Previous experience supporting the ODNI
  • Familiarity with federal resource management, budget execution, and user stories
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
