Medical Assistant position for Behavioral Health practice needed.

• Prepares patients for treatment and monitoring
• Performs health screenings, takes patient histories and vital signs
• Performs or assists with office procedures
• Maintains adequate supplies for office
• Reviews, documents, and updates medical records
• Schedules return appointments and processes referrals
• Ensures cleanliness of rooms
• Communicates with providers, patients, and staff
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
• Work accurately and in a timely manner
• Preserve and protect patient’s rights and confidentiality
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Work in a team environment
• Check in/Check out, phones, medical records.
• Feels comfortable working in front/back office
• Assists with answering phones and checking in patients/collecting co-pay
• Organized and efficient when working on authorizations.
• ECW experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
