We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Laborer to join our team and assist with the rehabilitation and renovation of residential properties. The General Laborer will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the rehab process, including demolition, construction, cleanup, and general maintenance duties. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with demolition activities, including removing flooring, walls, fixtures, and other structures as directed by the project manager or foreman.
• Perform basic carpentry tasks such as framing, installing drywall, trim work, and hanging doors.
• Assist with the installation of flooring, tile, cabinets, countertops, and other finishing materials.
• Help to maintain a clean and organized work environment by removing debris, sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste materials.
• Assist skilled tradespeople, such as electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians, as needed to support their work.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while on the job site.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure that work is completed according to schedule and quality standards.
• Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or other issues to the project manager or foreman immediately.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance, punctuality, and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in construction, renovation, or general labor preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors and more experienced team members.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed to meet project deadlines.
