About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Sr. Technical Quality Assurance Engineer that will be part of a dynamic team of engineers who create innovative solutions for our rapidly evolving cloud native technical stack. This role will collaborate with the team in developing and implementing QE strategy, standards, and measures. Perform hands-on testing tasks as needed. Focus on establishing a practice for testable requirements implementation throughout the creation phases and beyond. Provide governance around quality engineering practices, especially in-sprint test automation.

Your Day-to-Day at Sagent:

• Build and align work to define implementation and testing approaches
• Drive implementation risk and feasibility assessments leading to high confidence and success for product implementation
• Create integration implementation and testing strategy for integration of internal and external products/ applications
• Support the go-to-market product function from a technical product perspective
• Own various testing procedures such as functional testing, performance testing, regression testing, sanity & smoke testing for each release cycle of the product
• Drive a feedback loop mechanism to ensure the best end-to-end testing, implementation, reporting, and support practices are followed to improve overall quality for internal and external stakeholders
• Perform analysis of upcoming releases to understand the requirements from the perspective of completion, testability, and ease of understanding
• Perform test results analysis, post execution of testing, and provide feedback on areas needing improvement
• Perform defect or performance trend analysis during and after release, after initial implementation, and on a regular basis to support detailed reporting on risks and areas of need
• Provide implementation and testing estimates for new integrations and onboarding clients as well as any tied to new releases of products and features
• Create test strategies for end-to-end integration testing
• Act as gatekeeper and sign off on all releases that are ready for production or Product Team's Testing (or any internal / client testing)
• Be an advocate of automation, responsible for maintaining the existing test automation framework and improving it on regular basis
• Oversee and support augmentation of automated test cases and other related QE/ QA efforts during client implementation, warranty, and after every release to maximize the benefits of end-to-end integration testing in the product development and delivery framework

• Completion of a four-year college degree in a relevant discipline 4 years of experience in a related field or completion of an advanced degree (masters or higher) in an applicable and relevant field 2 years of related experience in an applicable field, or experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Technical Product, Product Management, and/ or QE/ QA/ Engineering Experience required
• Experience with API as a product and data as a product
• Familiar with Azure DevOps tools or other issue and project tracking software.
• Familiar with API management and developer portal tools and functionality
• Experience in creating end-to-end integration test suites within the financial services or financial technology domains
• Work with agile tools and frameworks to monitor progress, value delivery/ success metrics, and prioritization of the most optimal work for clients.
• Mortgage and Financial Experience is a Plus.
