Sage is Hiring a Director Order Operations Near Lawrenceville, GA
Job Description As a Director of Order operations you will be overseeing the strategic deliver y of best-in-class order operations (sales order generation, customer billing and other sales order administration activities) across the NA region. Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Operational leadership of all Order Operations teams across the NA region including setting of annual plan for the function
Responsibility for resource allocation across all NA region (~50 colleagues) and delivery of pan-NA resourcing efficiencies
Provide strategic input into effective operation of end-to-end GTM/Order-to-Cash processes across NA
Develop and execute a location/shared services strategy for Order Operations in NA and execute against that strategy
Develop a consistent scope framework and language for Order Operations across Sage, in partnership with EMEA Order Operations Director
Harmonize Order Operations scope accordingly across NA
Design and deliver a program of continuous operational and process improvement across all NA Order Operations teams, linking to the Finance Automation program and the ‘GMO’ system migration program
Build strong relationships with NA Sales, Customer Success/Support and Finance Operations teams, supporting them on improving end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes and outcomes
Partner with VP Financial Control to improve internal control environment to efficiently monitor transaction risk and financial exposure
Qualifications
8 years of experience in Sales operations
Strong communication, influencing & coaching skills to inspire and motivate teams
Extensive experience of successfully managing senior stakeholders as customers
Extensive experience of running operational order operations teams or similar
Extensive experience of delivering successful process transformation initiatives
Innovative, open minded approach to process change
Wide knowledge of industry trends in order operations and related processes/fields
Preferred:
Experience of process innovation practices such as Design Thinking
Comprehensive understanding of Sage / enterprise level GTM and Order-to-Cash processes
Good understanding of Sage products / SME accounting and people software market
Good understanding of Sage / enterprise level billing and entitlement systems
