Sage Ridge is seeking a dedicated Elementary Science and Spanish Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching elementary students and possess expertise in both science and Spanish language.

Essential Job Functions:

• Teach Grade 3rd, 4th, 5th grade Science
• Integrate math, technology, and engineering topics
• Teach Lower School Introduction to Spanish
• Implement best teaching practices to foster the learning of all students
• Create interactive and engaging lessons, which include opportunities for hands-on activities
• Monitor and support the social-emotional well-being of students
• Act as point person for parents of each student
• Facilitate student-led-conferences

Additional duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise students on an Outdoor Education Trip
• Teach Sage Session classes
• Complete weekly campus supervision duties
• Supervise lunch and clean up duties 2-3 times per year
• Chaperone one after school student government event per semester
• Attend weekly faculty meetings
• Maintain up-to-date gradebooks, homework calendars, and parent communication
• Possess strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Blackbaud, etc.
• Support the School's mission and model the School's pillars: Scholarship, Respect, Integrity, Courage, and Community
• Attend Back to School Night and other school functions that occur outside of school hours
• Be a proponent of the school in interactions with the public
