Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee our Columbia, SC business unit. Responsibilities include working with the Operations manager to ensure successful traffic control operations, project estimating/ procurement, quality control, and business development. The ideal candidate
will have a strong background in Civil Construction operations, paving, milling, borrow, and traffic control operations. They will have excellent leadership skills, an understanding of organizational structure, be reliable, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and business growth. Overall, we are seeking a team leader who's committed to the success of both the company and the employees within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership:
• Oversee daily operations of the traffic control team.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient workflow.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
• Estimating:
• Prepare accurate and competitive bids for traffic control projects.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with the sales and project teams to develop pricing strategies and proposals.
• Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand company growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote company services and generate leads.
• Team Management:
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure a high level of competency and professionalism.
• Schedule and manage team assignments to meet client needs and project deadlines.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Project Management:
• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays proactively.
• Safety Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols among staff.
