Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. As a Veterinarian, you will provide high-quality medical care to animals, diagnose and treat various illnesses and injuries, and educate pet owners on proper animal care. Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough physical examinations on animals and diagnose illnesses or injuries

- Develop and implement treatment plans for animals based on their individual needs

- Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as necessary

- Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as required

- Provide emergency medical care to animals in critical condition

- Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and general animal wellness

- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure efficient operation of the clinic

- Stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine and attend continuing education courses

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school

- Valid veterinary license in the state of practice

- Proven experience as a Veterinarian is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply

- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, including diagnostic procedures, treatment protocols, and surgical techniques

- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and medical record keeping

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively educate pet owners on animal care

- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other veterinary professionals

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Compassion for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care
