Job Description:

Support the achievement of enrollment goals within the enrollment communications function and related strategic enrollment management initiatives, with a focus on graduate enrollment.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION

  • Execute a strategic enrollment communications strategy for recruitment and yield of new graduate students, driving conversions through all stages of the recruitment funnel - prospect through enrollment.
  • Assess the effectiveness of enrollment communications strategies and adjust initiatives accordingly.
  • Utilize Slate CRM to build, execute and track a comprehensive email marketing strategy for prospects, inquiries and admitted students, as well as other constituents such as partner organizations or professional associations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the graduate recruitment function
  • Work with Undergraduate Admissions and other members of the SEM team on enrollment communications to support the recruitment of dual degree students.
  • Work closely with Admissions Operations on the execution of strategies and other SEM activity
  • Work collaboratively with various teams within the MARCOMM division in the completion of print/digital projects and implementation of marketing strategies, providing input on digital marketing campaigns and assessing and contributing to the improvement of web content.
  • Build events and corresponding messaging and communication campaigns in Slate CRM to drive event attendance.
  • Develop content and messaging for external sites both with vendors and independent sites.
  • Support the development of an initiative to incorporate current graduate students into the recruitment function.
  • Collaborate with Graduate Admissions and SEM on creating and enhancing visit opportunities for prospective graduate students.
  • Support other initiatives and functions within the SEM function.

Requirements:

Some evening and weekend hours may be required to meet deadlines. Travel may be required for professional development opportunities.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS NEEDED:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Enrollment in, or completion of, a SHU graduate program highly desirable.
  • Minimum of two years of admissions-related experience. Experience in other aspects or higher education and the student experience desirable. Experience with incorporating students into recruitment programs and with recruitment events highly desirable.
  • Excellent writing skills, editing skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills required to navigate the challenges of an SEM role supporting enrollment teams.
  • Experience utilizing an admissions CRM required, with Slate CRM experience highly desirable. Expertise with MS Office.
  • Ability to multi-task and utilize organizational skills to manage a wide array of tasks, projects and initiatives concurrently.
  • Maturity and professional experience to self-start, work autonomously and hold oneself accountable.
