DescriptionSelf Sufficiency: Management Analyst***COVER LETTER AND RESUME MUST BE SUBMITTED***JOB ANNOUNCEMENT & DESCRIPTIONSacred Heart Community Service, located in San Jose, CA, is looking for a dynamic, multifaceted Self Sufficiency Area: Management Analyst. This person provides leadership in SHCS' efforts to develop and evaluate Sacred Heart's Self Sufficiency programs portfolio: including but not limited to, Education, Economic Justice Network (EJN) and Family Support Network (FSN) departments. The Analyst reconciles and analyzes data from multiple databases and supports efforts to engage community members in the Self Sufficiency programs such as volunteers, leaders with lived experience, advocates, advisory committee members and staff. The ideal candidate is highly organized and possesses great data analysis and communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly, collaboratively, and creatively. This person is also equally committed to our vision of a community united to ensure every child and adult is free from poverty, an approach of driving policy change through transformational leadership development, and teaching and living an anti-racism and anti-oppression worldview. The position supports the administration, staff and volunteer/leadership training, and oversight.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESData and Analysis (55-65%)Lead and work with team members for the development, reporting, data collection and analysis of program goals, outcomes, and team performance metrics in alignment with SHCS' Strategic Plan and funding contracts using databases such as Salesforce, Smart Sheets and other tracking tools.Facilitates tracking of financial and budget-specific data to support contract compliance, reporting across multiple funding sources and departments.Conducts quarterly quality control audits for funding sources as needed to inform process improvements and management decisions to team and partners.Gathers and analyzes data and conducts policy analysis to support the work of the Self Sufficiency team and the organization, including supporting community organizing efforts and policy campaigns.Supports the assessment and development of professional development training in social justice, wellness and other professional skills as needed by the SS team and promotores.Supports EJN monthly reconciliation of data between internal organizational databases, and partner agency invoices.Develops and implements program evaluation tools (i.e., pre/post tests, satisfaction surveys, etc.), analyzes and reports on outcomes.Leadership Development (30-35%)Coordinates efforts to center the voice of members in organizational decision-making, including providing support for the Program Advisory Committee and other program leadership committees.Organizes a process to identify, pilot, evaluate, communicate and implement efforts of SS programming that would support a pathway into community organizing through our SS action and advisory committees as well as through the impacted community members, partner agencies, funders and staff.Oversees interdepartmental communication and feedback processes.Convenes, organizes and conducts regular meetings and training for a network of promotoras to expand the community-led programs across Santa Clara County.Supports and develops training and leadership development of new promotoras and member involvement.Supports the collaboration, planning and implementation of organization-wide programs, events, training, retreats, and outreach efforts.Attends staff meetings, retreats, and other team and organizational events. Performs other duties as assigned.Management (15-25%)Provides analysis, evaluation, and management for the development and implementation of management systems, structures, policies and procedures across Self Sufficiency departments.Performs a variety of highly specialized and confidential administrative support duties and coordinates the flow of information among work teams and maydistribute work to other staff.Provides staffing support and scheduling for management meetings.Will act as interim management support as needed and support the recruitment, hiring, onboarding and training of new program staff, volunteers and interns. Supports program data input and analysis as needed.Ability, Skill, and Knowledge (Required and Preferred)Strong commitment to our vision of uniting our community to ensure that every child and adult is free from poverty.Combined 3-4 years of experience or education in the following areas:o Data tracking, analysis, and/or program evaluation.o Nonprofit or similar administrative work, including administering grants or contracts. o Direct service work related to anti-poverty efforts, affordable housing, and/or homelessness.o (Preferred) Formal Education: Masters or Bachelors in a major and/or minor area that includes education and skill building related to data analysis and evaluation, program quality assurance and improvement, organizational development, human services, areas of social science, or public health, or equivalent experience.o (Preferred) Equivalent Experiences - in lieu of a degree from a formal education institution, at least 3-4 years combined of experiences such as paid or unpaid work experiences, internship or volunteer work, and training or certification courses.Excellent individual and group rapport-building and communication skills (written and verbal) in a range of relationships and environments, including with co-workers, colleagues in the field, youth, program participants, parents, elderly, immigrants, people of and other key stakeholders.Strong leadership skills; time management, project management, and delegation skills.Available to work some evenings and weekends.Must have a valid driver's license and qualify to be insured under SHCS driving policy, able to drive to different locations.Computer literate with proficiency in Google Apps, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Complete a DMV and complete a background check.COMPENSATION:This is an exempt, salaried position ranging from $78,000 - $82,000 per year commensurate with experience.
