Brief Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage our medical billing accounts and ensure timely payment collection. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
Tasks
- Manage accounts receivable for assigned healthcare providers
- Review and follow up on unpaid claims and denied payments
- Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues
- Post payments and adjustments accurately and timely
- Collect patient payments.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare reports for management
- Verify new patient benefits eligibility and communicate to administrative staff and/or patient.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and coding changes
