Job Description and Duties

We're looking for a positive and motivated individual to join our Classification and Recruitment team. You will make an impact in this role by supporting hiring supervisors recruit for critical positions in support of Wildfire Resiliency and Drought Control efforts.
This position will provide recruitment consultations to hiring supervisors and employees, review and approve Human Resources recruitment transactions, place job advertisements, determine eligibility for candidates, and assist with developing recruitment plans. We will provide the necessary training to ensure you are successful and have the opportunity to grow within state service.
This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for applicants residing in California. The hybrid schedule currently requires two days a week in office and three days a week teleworking.
We’re located in the new state-of-the-art Natural Resources Building in downtown Sacramento, right next to Light Rail for an easy commute. Working Conditions
This position primarily works from an office or home office and involves sitting at a computer. However, opportunities to visit Wildlife Lands and personally observe the work done by CDFW is available!
