The Project Administrator is responsible for supporting the project staff onsite with a large variety of tasks and responsibilities by providing administrate, operational and project related assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Must demonstrate and model Sachse Construction’s core values
  • Procure Trailer (coordinate with team to determine size and location)
  • Trailer set-up (furniture; file cabinets; supplies; appliances)
  • Maintain Trailer functionality (sanitation, maintenance and appearance)
  • Make sure Trailer is properly branded with appropriate jobsite signage
  • Coordinate Temp Facilities (communications; power; water; toilet)
  • Assist Super/PE on Subcontractor Safety Training (for all new subs onsite)
  • Subcontractor compliance: insurance & contracts submission
  • Assist Accountant on Sub billing/Waivers (send out and submit)
  • Assist PE on Job file set-up and maintenance
  • Assist PE on All logs; RFI, Submittal, change orders, meeting minutes
  • Assist PE on Making sure all drawings are updated (print out and distribute)
  • Coordinate Team and Owner meetings
  • Assist SPM, PM, Super, and PE on all reporting etc.
  • Tracking certain job cost expenses and completing team member expense reports
  • Document management
  • Distribute project documents such as bulletins, RFI’s submittals, etc.
  • Maintain inspection log from all Sachse and 3rd party inspectors
  • Answer phones
  • Maintain/provide all office supplies and temp facilities needs
  • Assist PE/Super in tracking all necessary permits/applications throughout
  • Assist in all project closeout needs
  • General project administration support

Qualifications

  • 3 year administrative assistance in a professional office setting
  • Construction experience preferred
  • 4 year college degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
