Sabino Recovery, a premier provider of holistic behavioral health services, is seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our tranquil facility to create a welcoming and therapeutic environment for our clients.
**Responsibilities:**
- **Grounds Maintenance:** Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and watering to ensure the grounds are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing.
- **Plant Care:** Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation to enhance the beauty of the landscape and promote a serene atmosphere.
- **Landscape Design:** Assist in the design and implementation of landscape projects, including planting beds, walkways, and outdoor recreational areas. Collaborate with team members to develop creative and sustainable landscaping solutions.
- **Irrigation System Maintenance:** Inspect, repair, and adjust irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage and proper hydration of plants.
- **Pest and Weed Control:** Identify and address pest infestations and weed growth using environmentally friendly methods to maintain a healthy landscape.
- **Equipment Operation:** Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively. Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and landscaping techniques.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
