POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary purpose of your job is to assess resident’s needs, develop an individualized care plan, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care and supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our community, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or designee to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Qualification/Responsibilities:

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or possess a valid compact license.
  • Provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants
  • Must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in a skilled facility
  • Must be flexible to work different hours based on the facility needs
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and collaborating working relationships with all levels of personnel
  • Overseeing day to day patient care, supervising, directing and developing staff

Shift & Wage:

  • Full-Time & PRN Opportunities Available
  • Shifts Needed: (1) 7a-3p & (1) 3p-11p
  • Wages: Competitive
  • Sign-on Bonus: $8,000 (to be paid out quarterly)
