Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the job is to manage the customer flow from inquiry to actual admission. You will ensure positive relations with the potential customer(s) and referral sources, ensure proper payer for admission, ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and contribute towards the community’s profitability and census goals. Follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and community Policies and Procedures.

Qualification/Responsibilities:

• Clinical background preferred
• Must possess working knowledge of Healthcare and the admissions process
• Cultivating/Maintaining professional relationships in the local health care markets
• Generate referrals for services by building relationships with hospitals, physicians, independent and assisted living facilities and other community resources
• Must possess great communication skills
• Coordinates tours, admissions, insurance verifications & pre-certs
• Community outreach activities such as health fairs, wellness checks, and caregiver support groups
• Regular marketing calls and visits will be made to referral sources to increase the number of referrals and admissions.
• Facilitates admissions decisions, and ensure positive admission experience for customers and families
• Extraordinary customer s`ervice to both external and internal customers. External customers would include referral sources, patients, and their families. Internal customers would include supervisors, clinical & non-clinical staff members, pharmacies, and suppliers

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday (some weekends required)
