Job Title: Business Developer - Commercial Landscaping

Recruiter: Bloom Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a well-respected commercial landscape maintenance company in Huntsville, AL, to find a driven and results-oriented Business Developer.

Opportunity: Drive growth in the dynamic Huntsville market by identifying, cultivating, and closing new commercial landscape maintenance contracts with a target value of $1MM-$2MM annually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively find new leads through networking, market research, cold calling, attending industry events, and strategic prospecting within the Huntsville commercial real estate market.
  • Strategic Sales: Understand client needs and tailor proposals that showcase our company's expertise and competitive advantages within Huntsville's unique environment.
  • Relationship Building: Establish strong connections with potential clients like property managers, facility managers, developers, and key decision-makers in the Huntsville business community.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Conduct effective negotiations and successfully close on new contracts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our internal teams (operations, estimating) to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate sales records, update your pipeline, and provide regular forecasts to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree: Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3 years of proven sales experience in B2B sales, ideally in commercial landscaping, construction, or a related industry.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated history of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Negotiation & Persuasion: Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Self-Starter: Entrepreneurial mindset and a high level of motivation.
  • Local Knowledge (Bonus): Familiarity with the Huntsville commercial real estate market and an understanding of regional landscaping trends.
