Job Description:

S.M. Lawrence is seeking a Chiller Field Service Technician. Individuals in this position are required to perform all phases of field service work. This includes on site major repairs, detailed troubleshooting and any other phase of repair. The territory involved with this position will be Memphis, TN, North MS and Eastern AR.

Requirements:

• Maintain up to date knowledge of the repair requirements of this equipment.
• Be able to travel immediately to all job sites as required.
• Provide technical advice to customers, potential customers and field personnel.
• Maintain proper written and oral communication skills to transfer information related to service work in a concise and logical manner.
• Submit detailed technical reports on each service call in legible fashion, suitable for billing customers.
• Follow all company and departmental procedures and guidelines.
• Submit accurate timecards on a weekly basis.
• Perform other duties as required.
• The individual must maintain a high degree of integrity in the way they handle business affairs.
• The Field Service Technician reports directly to the Service Manager of the given area they are working.

Preferred Qualifications:

• The position requires knowledge of rotating equipment and the ability to use a computer. 
• Military experience, mechanical collegiate schooling and/or sufficient mechanical working experience a plus.
• The understanding of total building system operation
• The equipment that requires service will be air cooled/water cooled scroll and screw chillers 60-400 tons centrifugal compressors 150-1280 tons. Along with other equipment SM Lawrcence Co services.
