S&C Dental Scottsale is Hiring a Dental Insurance Coordinator Near Scottsdale, AZ
S&C Dental in scottsdale is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Insurance Coordinator.
As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of insurance claims and maintaining patient records. This position requires knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Duties:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation for claim submission needed
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information
- Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide guidance on coverage options
- Coordinate with office staff to resolve any billing or coding issues
- Stay updated on changes in insurance policies, coding guidelines, and industry regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical coding is a plus
- Proven experience working in a medical or dental office setting
- Strong knowledge of Dental terminology, coding systems and insurance procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and insurance billing software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain patient privacy
Note: All positions at our company are paid positions.
Office Hours:
Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Benefits & Compensation
- $24 /hourly depending on experience
