Position Overview:
RYDE is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Compliance Supervisor to oversee the safety of all drivers and passengers within our network. The Safety Compliance Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring that our drivers operate vehicles safely, adhere to all traffic laws, and provide passengers with a secure and comfortable ride experience. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for promoting safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety checks and ride-alongs with drivers to assess their performance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor onboard cameras to evaluate driver behavior, identify potential safety hazards, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Develop and implement safety training programs for drivers to enhance their understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Investigate safety incidents and accidents, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement safety initiatives and policies.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to transportation safety.
• Provide regular reports and updates to management on safety performance metrics and trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in transportation safety, compliance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and educate others.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the rideshare or transportation industry.
• Certification in transportation safety or related field.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week

• Monday to Friday
