Job Overview:

The Registered Nurse is expected to ensure the delivery of safe and quality patient care. Perform, adapt and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to policies and procedures. Administer medications accurately and safely. Document according to policies and procedures and demonstrating technical skills specific to the nursing unit.

Required:

• Current New Jersey RN license
• ASN or Nursing Diploma (Must agree to complete BSN within 5 years of hire date)
• Willing to obtain Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider card within 6 months to a year
• Excellent communication, interpersonal relationships, and customer service skills
• This position works every other weekend and holiday and will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high quality and safe care to all patients on the Oncology unit.

Preferred:

• BSN
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider card
• 1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing experience preferred in an acute care setting
• BLS and ACLS
