JOB SUMMARY:

Trinitas Psychiatric Emergency Room provides evaluations and stabilization for patients in psychiatric crisis 24 hours a day.

Our Registered nurses have the skill and experience in helping patients of every ethnic and socio-economic background who are struggling with a range of psychiatric issues, including anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder, cognitive and memory problems, substance abuse disorders, and psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia.

EDUCATION:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN Degree preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current New Jersey RN licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS through American Heart Association)
• Prior experience and psychiatric population preferred
• 4 shifts per month minimum
• Ability to perform all competencies of the position is required
• Successful Completion of all Orientation requirements of RWJ Barnabas Health Trinitas.
