Ruyle Mechanical is Hiring a Warehouse Driver Near Peoria, IL

Our Warehouse Driver will provide support to the HVAC and other field employees as well as assist with warehouse duties as necessary.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Material handling.
  • Use of pick-up trucks for pick-up and delivery of materials and parts to various job sites.
  • Assist technicians in delivering parts to job sites.
  • Staging and prepping of materials in warehouse to take to job sites.
  • Assist with warehouse cleaning.
  • Opportunity to learn the industry and company operations with the goal of moving into a field position in HVAC or in plumbing.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent – Required.
Competencies:
  • Clean driving record – Required.
  • Self-motivated with the potential to learn the industry.
  • Ability to bend, lift (up to 70 lbs.), twist, stand.
  • Ability to obtain a fork lift certification.
  • Ability to obtain DOT medical card.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.
Work Environment:
This job operates in both an office and a field environment. Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
